    All About Preemies: July 08, 2011

    All About Preemies is about topics of interest to First Steps Early Intervention Providers and Service Coordinators. The conference will explore issues specific to assessment and setting treatment goals for infants with special needs, including discussions on typical development and atypical problems. Conference faculty include the following multidisciplinary group of professionals: Lisa Scott, MSN, NNP-BC; Heike Minnich, PsyD, HSPP, IMH-E® (IV); Judy Busch, MS, RD, CSP; Nancy Valentine MSN, RN, CPNP; and Anna Dusick MD, FAAP.

    Environmental Learning Experience 06/30/11, 10A-2P

    Learn to explore nature with your young students through techniques to encourage children to explore, discover and communicate in expressive ways and provides an introduction to environmental education at a key developmental period in children's lives.
    The workshop will be held at the Natural Resources Education Center in Ft. Harrison State Park.  There is no entry fee required to get into the park for workshop participants/
